This course will focus the generalised compositional and image development processes from earlier subjects (in the Purple Line), onto the approaches offered by Master Studios.

Course Structure and Content:

The student will work on compositional studies of master works, in drawing or painting media, as well as investigating their own ideas and engaging in compositional activities - all of which will be designed to develop the compositional and design abilities most useful for the particular Master Studio in which the student is working, while allowing the student to continue contact with the ideas and approaches of the other studios.

Learning Objectives:

After the completion of the course, students will: *Have demonstrated the ability to apply the compositional thinking/ style of the Master Studio in which they are working to studies of master works and their own compositions.
