Introduction:
This subect continues and attempts to resolve the work began in the 5th Semester subject "Final Project - Painting Portfolio 1", with reference to the written thesis executed during the 6th Semester.
Course content and structure:
Entry into this subject is dependent upon assessment of the folio of 5th semester work and oral presentation by the student to an academic panel. Students will resolve their Painting Portfolio with guidance from the Master studio teachers and class group discussions. Assessment of this subject is by a panel critique of the student's painting portfolio and thesis, at which they will deliver an oral presentation of the work and receive questions and discussion about the work from the panel.
Assessment details:
Criteria for assessment will include the portfolio, thesis, ability to communicate about the work and ideas during the oral presentation/defence in the final critique, and participation in the end of year show, and the ability to give and receive constructive criticism during the group critiques and one-on-one teacher critiques through the semester.
